My Story

I founded Skyward Trusts & Estates because I believe estate planning should be about far more than preparing legal documents. My goal is for every client to leave not only with a well-crafted estate plan, but with a clear understanding of how it works, why it was designed the way it was, and how to keep it effective as life changes.

For almost 30 years, I've helped individuals and families protect the people and assets that matter most. My early career in personal injury, family law, and business law shaped the way I think about risk. I saw how unexpected events, lawsuits, divorce, disability, and family conflict can dramatically affect people’s lives. Today, I bring that perspective to estate planning by helping clients proactively protect their families and assets with practical, personalized strategies designed to stand the test of time.​

I believe the best estate plans are the ones clients actually understand and feel confident using. That’s why I take the time to explain not just what each document does, but how the entire plan works together so clients can maintain it as their lives evolve.

Outside the office, I’m a private pilot and an active member of the aviation community. I’m a certified Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI), a member of the attorney panel for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and an avid supporter of Girls Love to Fly. Aviation has taught me that preparation, precision, and thoughtful risk management make all the difference—whether you’re planning a cross-country flight or planning for your family’s future. Those same principles guide the way I practice law every day.
