I’m Samuel, the Signing Coordinator and Notary at Skyward Trusts. I’ll help guide you through your signing appointment, ensuring your estate planning documents are executed accurately and efficiently. Signing your documents is more than just paperwork—it’s the first step in putting your estate plan into action. My goal is to make the experience simple, organized, and enjoyable from beginning to end.
My Story
I was born in Canada’s Maritime provinces and grew up in beautiful Lake Tahoe, where I developed a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. An avid skier, I worked as a Mountain Host at Heavenly, helping visitors enjoy everything the mountain had to offer while sharing my love for the Tahoe community.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from the College of Environmental Design at Cal Poly Pomona. Along the way, I worked as a bicycle mechanic at The Village Peddler—which, if you’re from Marin, is probably where we’ve already met. Working on bikes sharpened my mechanical aptitude and reinforced the importance of precision, attention to detail, and doing every job right the first time—qualities I bring to every client signing appointment.
Outside the office, you’ll often find me on the archery range, where I compete at the national level, riding the roads and trails of Mt. Tam whenever I can, playing golf, or following Formula 1 throughout the racing season. I also speak French and enjoy any opportunity to use it.

While signing your documents is an exciting milestone, it’s also the beginning of putting your plan into action so it can protect you and the people you love for years to come.
